The Team Talks workshops, organised by Kaye Towlson and Bernadette Gregory, give tutors and staff the opportunity to share good practice working towards the closure of the attainment gap. Workshops taking place in 2018-19 discussed themes of support and assessment, connection and belonging, engagement and confidence, and curriculum development and employability.
Speakers at the events have included Susie Day, Royal Literary Fund (RLF) fellow and children’s book author speaking about diversity in writing, and lecturers across DMU including from Game Art, Psychology, Pharmacy, and English Language, showing examples of good practise in their courses.
